Sheltering In Place
Terese Coe, author of The Everyday Uncommon and Shot Silk, writes that Sheltering In Place a collection of "poems of lucid memory". It is Christine Potter's second collection, very much about childhood and family--but also survival in tough times. Christine's sometimes black humor is evidenced here, as is her whimsy: the book contains The Mollycat Poems, a section of strictly metrical poetry written by Mollycat Jones, Christine's late cat. Cover pictures are by Hudson River Valley painter Nancy Quaglia. Christine will inscribe any copies of Sheltering In Place sold through this website.
