Christine Potter is a poet and writer who lives in the Hudson River Valley. For many years, she taught writing--especially poetry--in the Clarkstown Schools. She has published her poems widely online and in traditional literary magazines in places like The Pedestal, Stirring, The Literary Bohemian, Eclectica, Verse Daily, Autumn Sky Daily, HOOT, Fugue, The Irish Examiner, The Tipton Journal, The (late, lamented) Shit Creek Review, The Anglican Theological Review, American Arts Quarterly, Rattle, and once, wrapped around a stick of Dubble-Bubble in Gumball Poems.
Christine's three full-length collections of poetry are Zero Degrees at First Light (2006), Sheltering In Place (2013)., and Unforgetting, (2018). She was head moderator at The Alsop Review's Gazebo for longer than she can remember. Christine has also blogged and written about cocktails, music and food, and has hosted two weekly radio shows, Cocktails with Chris and The Dinner Party on the late, (also lamented) Area 24 radio.
Christine writes novels, too. Her YA time traveling series, The Bean Books, are published by Evernight Teen, and available there as ebooks, and here, in paper. She is available for Zoom or live poetry readings, author visits, and writing workshops for teenagers or adults.
